Had a thought-provoking conversation with my leadership colleagues yesterday about how to approach ambiguity as leaders. Paul Dunion's recent book provides a great conclusion on the matter. It's about accepting the unknown, ourselves as not knowing, and suspending right and wrong. We should hold our views with more suppleness, exercise more courage to remain curious, and take action. These thoughts are helpful to avoid falling into the societal trap that a role, function, or age should bring a sense of knowing. Let's embrace ambiguity and become better meaning makers.
